This policy explains how AntNetwork, L.L.C., trading as RareSRV, manages resource use so customers can use the services they purchased without unfairly affecting other customers. It forms part of the Terms of Service. The Acceptable Use and Abuse Policy addresses prohibited activity separately.
Your order and plan specification define the resources included in your service. Relevant limits can include storage, file count or inodes, memory, CPU, concurrent processes, database connections, traffic, network speed, email sending, and the number of hosted accounts. We will make material limits available before purchase. This policy does not create an undisclosed numerical cap or reduce a purchased allocation after the fact.
A reseller is responsible for the total use of the purchased reseller allocation and for the individual accounts they create. Any account limits and overselling permission must be stated in the reseller offer. Selling more capacity than a plan permits does not increase the resources available to the reseller.
We aim to address an issue at the affected account or resource before restricting unrelated reseller customers, where technically possible and safe. An urgent server-wide incident may require broader action. Resellers must maintain working contact details and cooperate with notices affecting their customers.
Dedicated hardware allocations are governed by the server specification and order. Shared-hosting workload restrictions do not automatically apply to a dedicated server. Lawful workloads are allowed subject to the purchased resources, network limits, licenses, upstream terms disclosed for the product, and our Acceptable Use and Abuse Policy.
Port speed describes a network interface or service limit, not a guarantee of that speed to every destination at all times. An unmetered traffic offer means traffic is not billed by volume within its disclosed port, usage, and network conditions; it does not mean infinite capacity. Traffic allowances, overage prices, and any sustained-use restrictions must be stated in the offer. We will not invent a retroactive overage charge.
Email sending limits apply even to legitimate mail. Do not evade them by rotating accounts or routing through another customer. Purchased lists, unsolicited bulk messages, forged headers, and compromised-mailbox activity are covered by the abuse rules. Use a suitable mailing service when your opted-in mailing volume exceeds the hosting plan.
Storage allocations may include website files, email, databases, logs, and backups as specified in the plan. You must maintain adequate free space for updates and reliable operation. Any exclusions from a backup product, including size or file-type exclusions, must be disclosed for that product.
For a nonurgent issue, we will describe the affected resource, the applicable limit or observed impact, and reasonable corrective steps. We will normally give you an opportunity to fix the issue or discuss a suitable plan. A genuine short traffic spike is assessed in context; it is not automatically an abuse violation.
We may temporarily limit a process, connection, sending function, or affected service where reasonably necessary to protect availability or security. If delay would risk material disruption, we may act before notice and explain the action as soon as reasonably possible. Repeated unresolved breaches may lead to suspension or termination under the Terms of Service.
An upgrade requires your agreement to the new price. We do not automatically purchase a higher plan or add a penalty merely because usage is high. Disclosed usage charges in your existing order remain payable.
If you think a restriction was incorrect, contact customer support or open a support conversation with the service reference and relevant usage information. We will review the evidence and explain the outcome. You can ask for human review of an automated resource restriction.
Changes to material limits apply according to your service agreement and the notice provisions in the Terms of Service. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
